I received my learner's permit when I was 16 years old. I took my rode test at 17 and fell. Since then Ive been driving off and on for the past 6 years. Usually when I don't drive for a while, I get nervous, but when I drive again after, I drive regular. I finally schedule my second rode test. I started driving again about 2-3 times a week. My rode test is Sept 21. Im hoping I will pass it cause I have a job depending on it. I can drive, park, 3-point turn and all. You think I will pass.

Do you text? talk on a cell phone? eat?
Once I saw someone reading a novel while driving.
Do you think it's dangerous, or do you think you still have control?

Also, how many of you don't use turn signals?

Who has the right of way when you have multiple lanes turning into a different number of multiple lanes? For instance, imagine a right turn with 2 turn lanes going to the right merging onto a 3 lane road. Which (original) turn lane gets the middle lane after completing the turn? Ideally, no one would get the middle lane immediately after the turn, but of course that isn't going to happen.

This is just a curiosity question, not one I am trying to get legal advice on.

I have been learning car driving for the past 1 year. I attempted 6 practical tests, but failed. I changed 2 instructors and spent a lot of money. I don't understand what is the fault. Can you give any information or ideas that how I can practice driving in a cheaper and effective way?

I have a navigator Guimin Nuvi 360, portable GPS for car driver. I live in San Jose, California, USA. In the manual, they said it is not OK to install this navigator onto the windshield of your car in California and Minesota. Do you know if there is any other way to affix it onto your car so that you can view during your driving. Is it really illegal to affix it onto the windshield in California? What happen if I keep having it on my windshield? Is there anybody having ticket because of that?

My boyfriend wants to get a motorbike. I know that they can be a lot of fun but I am worried about it. I mean are they really dangerous? He really has his heart set on it and I don't want to tell him that he shouldn't get it. He also wants it because he is kinda broke right now and wants to just have that for transportation because gas for a car is so expensive nowadays. But I would die if he got in a really bad wreck. And it didn't help when both of our parents and some of our friends told us that it was dangerous. He was saying that he wanted me to ride with him too and I don't know what to do because deep down I'm really scared to. I kinda of tried talking to him about it before and I really don't think he will change his mind about getting one.

What do these signs on the back of dump trucks refer to? Following them accidentally into a construction site, or in case debris falls from the truck and ruins your car, is the sign sort of a disclaimer? Anyone know?

It is a rush hour going home from work. There are many cars on the road. There is this one car and the driver does not care who is in front, who is at the back and who are at the sides. Even when there is no space for him to change lanes, he still tries to move in thinking that somehow his car will not rub against the other car.

I've always wondered if slamming the breaks and swerving the tire is such a good idea. I mean, the movies say other wise, they kill of a bunch of people this way, but does it work in real life? If not, what would be the best way to get out of this situation alive?
