I've seen this question twice now on here and it REALLY is beginning to scare me only because I travel the roads daily to and from work and see some REALLY stupid stuff......now I know why. Here's the question, "Does anyone know where I can download or get a program to learn how to drive?" WTF.....now I know why I'm almost killed on the roads daily....our youth are learning by simulation. Anyone here a little perturbed by this? Or is it just me?

It seems like more often than not, people are not using their turn indicators. Not only is it a lack of compliance with our traffic laws, but its also an outright lack of courtesy to your fellow driver. Why? Is it hard to use an indicator? Do people just not care?

build a wall for those killed on our highways. That would be a pretty big wall, unless the wall was taller. But I guess people would need to become taller first

I drive a 1980s model car and someone broke into it last night using a metal file to pry the door open. Today I've emptied out any remaining items that might tempt thieves and I'm buying a steering wheel lock. Can anyone give me some practical advice to prevent future break-ins? The doors were locked and the car was parked in a well-lighted area.

Should the drivers exam be more difficult so new drivers are better educated and informed and thus reduce accidents and road rage since they will know better what is expected of them? Should the written test and the road test be one of the most difficult tests they'd take in their life so to either make better drivers or keep the bad ones off the road?

The first time my car was broken into they took my purse from my glove compartment with only 2x10p, how pathetic. I don't know what to do.

I hear that the full-cover, circular Disklok ones are by far the best, but they retail at £80! i was looking at the straight type ones, (around £20-25) but are these any good?

Cheers,

I'm torn between Syria and Italy.

The 3 times I've been to Italy I've made a rough estimate of the number of dented cars, and I always counted at least 30% damaged.

But in Syria I remember seeing a car driving in the wrong direction on the motorway...

When driving onto a forked onramp with with a small triangular island between the two entrances, does one need to stop first before driving onto the curved entrance if there is a red light (but only on the island facing in the direction of those passing the onramp entirely). Below is a diagram. The v is direction of the red light and the ^ is the oncoming car about to veer right. The horizontal pathways are the straight entrancs to the on and offramps.

..to slow speeding motorists? In built up areas ,balloon like devices
that pop up from the road in the shape of kids( which leave no marks on your car) but record your number plate via a sensor. The balloons only pop up if a nearby sensor senses speeding.A league table of the most balloons hit with the driver's details is then published in the local newspaper.
