Hi! one year ago on my way to church I almost got runed over by a car and I also almost got hit by a car again on my way to the job center. Is it possible I might forget to look right and left and get hit by a fast driver? I got honked at twice in those places while crossing the street.

I usually wear a ponytail and my vehicle's headrest leans forward enough to cramp my neck unless I put the seat WAY back, which makes the rest of me uncomfy. I have a Toyota RAV-4 and yes the headrest is detachable. My husband is afraid that I can suffer severe whiplash if I stop suddenly. He may be right but he also worries more than the average person...got it from his Mamma. What do YOU think? Thanks!

People drive way too fast in my neighborhood (I live in Carrollton, GA). I'm afraid that one of the kids on my street is going to be killed by the fast cars. The speed limit is 25--most cars driving on my street go at least 50. Who do I need to contact to get a speed bump placed on our street?

As people age their reflexes, eyesight, coordination, etc deteriorate. This can affect their ability to control a motor vehicle. However, in the UK there is no gauge for a persons ability to drive a motor vehicle once they have passed their test.

Should older people have to take a competency test (not a full UK license test, just 10 minutes with an instructor to prove that they are capable of handling a motor vehicle) once they reach a certain age? And what should that age be?

FYI I am currently 31 years old.

I live in Manila where jeepney drivers stop in the middle of the road for passengers to get on and off. I'd like to know if there's any other place where driving is more difficult.

About 10 years ago (more in some states), it was made illegal in most states for children to cross more than one lane of traffic. That means that side streets are pretty much the only place you need to stop for school buses. It is SO annoying when you are on a road that is 4 lanes wide and people STILL Stop!!!! When is the last time you heard of a kid getting run over trying to cross the road? You don't because they have to be dropped off on the side of the road they live on.... unless it is a side street and then of course you still must stop. Don't argue unless you have a link to your states site that proves me wrong... you won't be able to though...
