Does any one know what the law in Michigan is for having to wear a seat belt while delivering newspapers?

Unless you're delivering newspapers from a bicycle, you have to wear them.

I would think it's the same everywhere. You drive -- you wear a seat belt. Truckers are exempt from the law, but unless you are delivering papers in a big rig, I think you have to be belted.

You may deliver without using a seat belt only if you are capable of delivering the paper onto the porch from the car accurately.

Exactly the same as anyone else. Theur is no special provision for the small percentage of newspaper delivery or for that matter the larger percentage of mail carriers.
