Hi! one year ago on my way to church I almost got runed over by a car and I also almost got hit by a car again on my way to the job center. Is it possible I might forget to look right and left and get hit by a fast driver? I got honked at twice in those places while crossing the street.

Use the cross walk and wait for the "walk" light.

I think you should look both ways before you cross, the safest thing to do is stay at the crossing and read the cross walk signs of walk and don't walk.
