I had 2 in the street and 2 in the parking lot (once I hit a car and once a tree). So, in my case - 50/50.

Well, to tell you the truth car accidents happen almost every minute. Doesn't matter where you are. More likely on the streets than parking lot.

i got hit in a damn parking lot!

parking lot accidents happen alot..and most of the time parking lot accidents nothing can be done about them becuase its private property. at least that was the story given to me by PD when i got backed into by an old hag. my insurance reamed her though..i got over 2,500 bucks for the damage and repairs.

That will be a hard statistic to find. The government doesn't report on those since they are on private property. Call your insurance agent and see if they can help you out.

Probably lots, but most departments won't do a report if it's on private property, so there are few in any statistics on the question.
