Hi ,

Recently cop gave me fine for not wearing a seat belt. but actually what happened.

i was taking left turn.i was already on the road, that's why even though red arrow is on, i took left turn.
he stopped my car for not giving yield . when stopped my car , i was in tension , i forgot that i shouldn't take out my seat belt.i'm driving since years.this's first time car stopped my car.

when cop was coming towards my car, to take out the purse from the pant i take off my belt .

that's why cop misunderstood me that i didn't wear seat belt. he gave fine .

now i have 3 questions in my mind. i don't know whith whom i have to clear my doubts, that's why i'm writing this to get help.

1. can i attened the court for not pleing guilty.
2. is the cop can see traffic lights cameras for the prrof (i had seat belt on while i was driving).

3. is that violation fine goes to my DRIVING RECORD.

please clear my doubts.

Thanks

On the expressway this morning, some guy moved into my lane while I was starting to pass him (didn't check the blindspot?). I slammed on the brakes, started to skid into the other lane/swerved/almost skidded into the concrete median. I didn't have control of my car for several seconds. This wouldn't have been a fender bender, this would have been me in the hospital. If he'd gone into my lane a hair longer, I wouldn't be here at work wondering if I can report his driving to the cops anyway. I wrote down his liceense number.

of 100kph. ( two separate times ) There was no room for them to pass me or room for me to pull over to let them pass. I would like to hear from other road users or safety experts what is recommended in a case like this !! Should I speed up and exceed the speed limit to put distance between us or should I just hope that my car does not suffer a mechanical problem and be mincemeat under the following semi ?.

I see this all the time where I live. People will jog or ride their bike on the side of the road. There are plenty of sidewalks that aren't being used. Why don't they just use the sidewalk?

I just moved to Denver and on the way totalled my car by rolling 3 times in a ditch. I am now scared to drive where there is snow, slush, and ice. I am not fond of SUV' s or the Subaru Outback, but I want a safe car to drive that can handle the snow and ice. Please help!

I'm writing a story and need to detail a serious car accident. Could someone help me out with a side collision. I need someone to be fatally injured. What type of injuries could a side collision create? Would the person die of blood loss or something else? I need an unharmed driver (of the victim car) to do CPR on the hurt character to try and revive them. The accident is going to be caused by a drunk driver. I've only had a mild accident where no one got hurt. Would the drunk have to serve prison time? I'm so ignorant of these things.

Can someone tell me the formula to parallel parking? My instructor gave me one.. it was like turn your wheel 3 times clockwise and move back a little or something but I can't remember it. Thank you : )

Ok, so a bus is stopped, going the opposite direction your road leads to. There is a median in between the bus and your side of the road, do you have to stop or is it safe to go?

I knew this would sound kind of confusing, so I drew a diagram. The QUESTION MARK ("?") is the vehicle in question. Is it lawful for it to continue and not stop when there is a median in between (and yes, I know you have to stop when there is NO median in between)?

This is a question for drivers in the UNITED STATES only.

I was struck on my motorcycle by an unisured motorist that ran a stop sign, breaking a total of 9 bones, I've had 4 operations and I still have 1 more to go. My bills have hit over $ 300,000 the woman that hit me got less than a $1000 in fines and is already driving again. I think it should be a $ 2000 dollar fine and they lose their auto to be sold at auction and drivers license for a year. The fine and money gained from the sale of their car should go into a fund to pay the victim's. Once they are hit with a fine and loss of their car and license maybe they will think twice about getting behind the wheel and not having insurance. Because let's face it, if you can't afford insurance you cant afford to drive.

Now, I know it's so they show up the right way around in the rear-view, but why?

An ambulance or a fire engine aren't exactly hard to recognise, why does it need to be written on the front?

I only thought of this today..

Thank ya!

Especially true with big vehicles and people that don't know how to drive them, they decide go to the middle lane separating the 2 way streets and wait to turn, which is fine. But they have no clue about the size of their vehicle and have a large portion of their rear end sticking out, just waiting to get hit by the vehicles behind them. I drive a good size vehicle myself but I always realize there are other people behind me and make a point to go all the way in so as not to block all the cars behind me or get hit.
