The warning light goes out after a few seconds, and more than one mechanic has told me that's a sure sign everythings OK, but is it really? The repairs on the car are so shoddy I wonder if they found a way to fool the the entire airbag system. It's an 02 CIvic that I've had less than a year.

Think about it, no car insurance so every dent or ping or crash that you have has to be paid for out of your own pocket, including those you cause on other cars. So would people drive slower and safer?
No house insurance - would people be more cautious with lighters and gas cookers and things liable to cause fires?
No health insurance - would people stop smoking and eat sensibly?
Just a line of thought to see what responses it provokes - what do you think?

almost sounds like electrical interference with computer or other electronic device in cab, only experience it in extremely cold weather, very intermittent, lasts 5 -10 seconds, seems to be worse around other cars.

Car 1 is traveling south and going straight. Car 2 is traveling north and is wanting to make a left turn. Car 2 is in the middle of the intersection waiting for a safe time to make their turn.

When the light turns red, car 2 starts to make their turn when Car 1 runs the light and hits the side of car 2.

Here is what the accident would look like.

A mate of mine was banned for drink and driving. But he has now given up booze and badly needs his licence back for work. But he has to take the "extended driving exam" before he can get it back, despite being a better and more experienced driver than I ever was. He has never driven dangerosuly nor incompetently in his life and can handle HGV and towing with ease which I certainly can't. But I still have to sit by him as "Instructor" while he practices to comply with the law even though he can teach me far more about "good" driving than I could ever teach him.. What advice can I give him to help him get through.
Can anybody experienced in this tell me, are the examiners likely to fail him for the slightest alleged mistake because he was disqualified or are they fair and unbiased in their judgements..

I live on a street with a lot of elderly people ( limited incomes) that pay to have their sidewalks cleared in the winter. We all make an effort to keep our sidewalks clear only to have most people walk in the street just about asking cars to hit them . They don't move, making no effort to get out the way. Maybe they should be fined also? What do you think?
