A guy in my street has a driveway with a dropped curb, last night I parked my car and it WAS NOT blocking entrance to his drive way at all..but he decided he wanted to park his car outside his driveway…not ON the driveway but he could fit his car in the space…so he pushed my car forward with his car he left me about an inch away from another car blocking me in I politely asked him to move his car and he refused. What would be my rights for this as I was not parked infront of his driveway blocking his entrance.?

Cars built in the US use red lights for their rear turn signals. This defies current trends towards safety: every other country makes all turn signals yellow, which is much easier to differentiate from brake lights.

In all the world, red is for brakes and yellow is for turn signals (both front and rear). But in the US they are both red at the rear.

What gives?

I can understand that this probably follows a tradition. But with an automotive industry each day more oriented towards safety, this seems to make no sense at all.

Pride?
Stubbornness?

They do not show any signal when they turn left or right. Even if they put the signal they forget to turn it off after its use, overtake thru the wrong side, they are always in a hurry to get in front of the car in front of then knowing fully well that they will hinder the on coming traffic. In short they have no road sense & diregard to the fellow road users. They put other road users into danger. I feel thy are very selfish & think of only about how they can get to the destination.

Is it illegal to leave your keys in a running car even if you lock it and it's in your driveway? In the winter I just want to warm it up and defrost the windows while I finish getting ready for work. I know it's illegal and insurance wont cover a stolen car if you leave your keys in the ignition and leave it. But if I locked my doors would it still be covered if stolen?

E.g. Is it safe to stay under trees, or get in a car, or running, or just staying in the same place? Is it safe to speak on the mobile phone, or keep an umbrella, or keep in hands something made by steel? etc.

There is no way that he was glorifying speed by what he said during the airing of hamsters crash. Is it about time that some of these politicians and road safety people left him alone, after all i'm sure that hamsters crash has taught a lot of people about the dangers of high speed driving even tho he didnt die (thank god!)

is distracting and therefore illegal, then why is it perfectly legal for idiots to have their stereo up so loud their windows are vibrating and their car interior lit up with so many LEDs it looks like Blackpool illuminations?
They cant be fully aware of their surroundings with so much going on in their car.
And what if an emergency vehicle is approaching and they dont hear the siren and get out the way? That is putting other peoples lives at risk would you not say

I have no driving-license or car, that’s why I’m kinda confused here… is it lethal to drive like that? How about riding a motorcycle without helmet to wear?

Why should I do that?

PS: Please don’t make joke of my questions…. I’m deathly serious and it’s matter of life or death here!!!

I rear ended another car in freeway. The police report is not ready yet I want to know your opinion on who is at fault. I am in california .
I rear ended the other car at 1 am where there was no traffic. Of course I was going with the flow of traffic and I pushed on brake when I saw the car. The car didn’t have proper lighting or any flasher blinking and was either stopped or going 5 mph. my speed was 65 mph and I dont think I had any other choice because of the difference of the speeds.
(Do a simple math 65 mph means 100 ft per second how far you usually see in freeways
And even if I see the car how should I know if it is stopped if there is no brake light)
I still dont know exactly why the other driver was going so slow in speed lane. since he got arrested at the end I guess he was either on drugs or too drunk to be able to drive properly at the end he even engaged with officers and tried to escape. tell me what you think
