The guy above obviously hasn't seen a Skoda since VW took them over. It's a quite amazing turn around they're good motors now.
Any way the transponder will be built into the key so even if someone had a key cut for your car they still couldn'y nick it. I'm fairly sure that these are Thatcham Cat 2 approved but you'd need to double check that before claiming an insurance discount

Sorry, but being a Skoda, Does it actually need an anti - Theft device?
No one in their right mind would nick one!

I would say that the anti theft device fitted is the Skoda Badge.
Scares most people away from the car..........
Or they die laughing having seen the name on the car!!!

it has the best anti theft device on the market as it happens lack of desirability you can increase the efectiveness of this by adding go faster stripes down the sides and scoda alloy wheels are a real turn off for any would be thief hope this helps :-)

just checked Autodata and all that is fitted is a standard immobiliser which activates after 10 secs and will cut out the engine after 1sec if started with a wrong or uncoded key
