Most floors are a framework with only sheetmetal on the inside. Sometimes a light crossmember across the middle.

Other then the weight of the persons feet the forces from driving should be on the frame of the vehicle and frame of the cab.

this all depend on the truck,is this just a pickup,or a over the road semi with air ride cab? because there is a lot of difference in the amount of stress and were the stress occurs.
