The device that you're referring to is not a LoJack. LoJack is a Stolen Vehicle Recovery System and used only for that purpose. It has no impact on your vehicle's ability to function.

Lo jack is only activated when the car is reported stolen. There are other GPS based systems that buy here pay here dealers install, so that they can find deadbeats who do not make their car payments.
From your question, one may assume that you are either a car thief or a deadbeat. I am not saying that you are, but your question does imply that!!
