Especially true with big vehicles and people that don't know how to drive them, they decide go to the middle lane separating the 2 way streets and wait to turn, which is fine. But they have no clue about the size of their vehicle and have a large portion of their rear end sticking out, just waiting to get hit by the vehicles behind them. I drive a good size vehicle myself but I always realize there are other people behind me and make a point to go all the way in so as not to block all the cars behind me or get hit.

I'm not talking about 18 wheeler trucks here, by the way. I can understand certain exceptions for that.

Very annoying. when making a left turn into an island, the rear end of the car is left to block half the lane, while in front there is plenty of room to pull the car in fully, and clear the lane totally for traffic. It is a constant problem, and often the offenders are older drivers, in our area. There should be a way to get it to their attention, by talking to parents and grandparents about this kind of driving. Violations are now $100.00 or more and most of us can ill afford such an expense, for blocking oncoming traffic This is sometimes seen in making a right turn into a street when there is plenty of room to turn in fully and safely.

Sometimes there is not room for a big vehicle to fully get over into the turn lane. I drive a truck, and cannot always get the end of the trailer over far enough to be out of traffic. It is not a case of not knowing how to drive it, just roads not made with an 18 wheeler in mind. And which is more inconvenient, having to wait 30 seconds behind me, or not having any toilet paper available at your store because you want all the "big vehicles" off the road?

Yes - I hate that! I also hate when people making making a right hand turn swing wide into the lane next to them to make the turn!

Yes I agree. I also hate when making a right turn I pull all the way to the right and there is always someone left of me who tries to turn in front of me.

Well, living in South Florida and having to deal with tourists all year, I can definitely relate. I hate it when people do that, I always lay on the horn. I usually dont get mad too often when driving, but that really makes me tick....especially when they throw their hands up like they did nothing wrong...
