Find a hidden location in the car for the switch. Most car thieves will feel under the edge of the dash, so that is not a good location. Once you have a location find the input lead to the Electronic Control Unit or on older cars the hot wire to the coil. You may need a diagram or assistance for this. Cut this wire and route it through your hidden switch making sure to conceal the wires.

You can buy a kill switch at any auto parts and put it under the dash. The hard part is finding the hot wire going to the switch. When you have it located just put the switch in the line. When you turn the key on nothing will happen till you flip your switch.

Hello,

putting a switch to the power line of the engine management ECU will do the trick. switching it off kills fuel (and spark for gasoline engines) instantly ;D.

There are many after-market, under-dash toggle switches available for many different applications, including yours. Visit your nearest, or most trusted auto parts and accessories dealers. You know, AutoZone - Advance Auto - CarQuest - NAPA, etc.
