I have a 1995 chevy cavalier, 2.2L, and just this friday had my alternator and battery changed. My belt is also tight, and not frayed in the slightest... still looks brand new! But when i am driving, the battery light still flickers on and off... or just stays on, as well as my turn signals are slower and my ABS light comes on and doesn't go away until i turn my car off! I had this problem when i changed my alternator and battery, and it seems like for only half the day the battery light and ABS light stayed off. We've checked for corrosion and there isn't any, and all the connections are tight.... i just don't want my car dieing on my again when i am driving, expecially with my 2 young kids in the car.... and if it's the wiring harness how would i tell!? Any info would be great on what i can check for! Thanks... hope i didn't stump any of yous.... :)

I saw this Hummer (with a bunch of pro-Bush stickers on the back of it - of course) that was parked in two spaces at the mall...

The lady who got out of it just shrugged at the people who were looking at her and said "I can't get it scratched... ya know?"

Why would you be attracted to a "tough" oversized vehicle and then be all worried about it getting a scratch?

The sea-doo and trailer weigh no more than 1000lbs, there is a class 1 hitch for my car rated for up to 2000lbs. I just want to know if there is anyone else out there that pulls and launches a sea-doo with this type of car or a car similar to it? Everyone I talk to says it should be no problem, Thanks for your help.

WHILE A TRUCK MOVES 40 DEG SLOPE, IF THE ENGINE IS KEPT OFF, THE GEAR TRANSMISSION IS IN NEUTRAL THEN MY QUESTION IS WHETHER THE CRANKSHAFT WILL ROTATE OR NOT AND MY NEXT QUESTION IS WHETHER THE PISTON WILL MOVE OR NOT.

what do yal recommend (experienced people ) I wana get a mitsubishi eclipse for my first car...i like the 1997-99 GS-T model and the 2003 GT-S model...I dont kno which one to get...i wana customize it..with turbo and a cold air intake....and a nice body kit....and stuff like that....and which one is faster???

Why do you need a 4x4 if you live in a huge city?

I know everyone has their choice, but I live in the sticks and own a caravan and horses so feel justified in having a 4x4 to get around the place efficiently (not a huge, top of the range one either)
But I see other women drivers especially, who drive them in cities and wonder whether they know what hill decent/4 wheel drive etc are really for?!

Ps I do, and use it a lot out here.

My car has about had it. Anyway, there is a used car that I am looking at that is a deal that I really can't refuse. My grandmother and aunt have said that they will help me get the car, but my father refuses to let me borrow money from them. I am 20 years old by the way. I feel like it is in my best interest to get the car, but I don't want my father to disown me (yeah, that is what I said). What should I do?
