IVE DONE IT BEFORE!!! So no one can say that it's not possible!!
I was driving an 07 Mustang gt...im not going to get into details about it because I dont want to get caught ...I was going East on a road I was racing a car that kept revving its engine at me so I floored it...than there was a stop light i barely was able to stop for......than i noticed a cop coming from the other direction so I just floored it cop turned his siren on i kept going straight about 2 miles and out of the side streets came 3 other cop cars they were all behind me (like I said Im not going to get into too much detail) I just kept going i was going over 100mph for sure than i madea aleft turn into the highway and I just floored it I hit 150mph and I tottally lost them!!!!
This was about 2am...
So for those of you who say that it isnt possible think again!!!

I was speeding this morning (going to work and all) - and got pulled over. However, after being notified I was driving 85 in 65 mph zone (highway) - the officer told me to slow down and drove away. I did not get a ticket or a written warning - nothing whatsoever. Is he going to send them to my address, or am I off the hook this time?
I know the question is ridiculous, but I have never been stopped before, so have no clue what the procedures are.

I've been to plenty of gas stations looking for air pumps and it seems like nobody has them. The one gas station I found with one has been broken for over a week. I need like 10 psi in all my tires so any advice is helpful.

I went to Glossop the other day and to my surprise in order to use the pay and display car park, drivers had to enter their car registration number to get a ticket. I really didn't like that and drove off to find another spot without such silly regulation. I wonder if anyone else disaproves at such level of control? Or perhaps you don't see a problem at all with this...? Your thoughts and feelings on this subject please.

It is apparent that a larger gas tank may not be placed on a car since the added weight may decrease overall mileage. I'm sure that car makers take this into account, but in the event that the benefits of a larger gas tank will not influence overall mileage, why not? Why not install a huge gas tank that will allow a vehicle to travel 1000 miles? This is besides the point, though.

..... Okay so I've heard that federal or state law does not allow for this because they do not want us to be able to travel beyond a certain amount of miles on one gas tank. I tried searching for this with no avail. Perhaps it's a myth?

My parents were going to buy me a car as a grad present and got a decent job offer already...i figure i can afford a 25K car....figured shoot for 40 ish.
Anyways, i wanted the 350Z nismo and my parents agreed until they found out it was rear wheel drive and then freaked out. Said it won't move in snow....and will fly off the road in rain. I live in central PA right now. Most northern job offer is D.C. I figure they get snow, but not as much as here.
I know rear wheel isn't the best with snow....but is it that bad with snow / rain.

The dealer would have to special order it too and was trying to convince us to get a car they had on the lot instead and was talking about how horrible the nismo is.

My dad cites that his van is rear wheel drive (1980 chevy) and it won't move in snow as the number one reason...mixed with the dealer saying the car is bad. Not sure if the dealer just exaggerated so we'd buy one of the cars he already had...or if my parents are over reacting

on a recent visit to Wales I had to pull over to ask directions, not realising that I had stopped on a bicycle lane with double yellow lines, I was only there a few seconds but as I pulled away I noticed a traffic warden walking down the road and as I passed him I noticed in my rear view mirror that he took out a note pad and started to jot something down,I can only assume that he wrote down my number,It has made me wonder if it is possible to have a fine sent through the post or do I have to be given a ticket on the spot

My car died at the weekend. The repairs are more than the cost of the car, so I would like to replace it. WHat things do I need to do.

I am aware that I should:

- declare it off the road (I have a parking space in a private cul-de-sac), but how do I do that? Will I get a tax refund? Can I transfer the tax to a new car when I get one? beofre I can transfer it? do i need to wait until I have the new car(The tax has about 2 months left on the tax)

- end (or transfer) my insurance. I only renewed the insurance two weeks ago, am I tied in to that for a year? or can I end it at any point? Or will I have to transfer it to my new car?

- I would like to scrap the car. Will scrapyards pick up cars from a private address or do I need to arrange for the car to be taken to the scrapyard?

- how much (if anything) will I get for scrap?

- If the car is scrapped do I need to inform the vehicle licencing as it will still be registered in my name?
