I drove the cars for 3 days after the starter was changed, now today it won't crank. What could be the problem, the car is an 1993 Lincoln Town Car executive series

When replacing the starter, your cousin probably disconnected the battery.

Check the connections to the battery first to be sure they are clean and tight.

If they are, try jump starting the car first and see if the starter turns over.

If that doesn't work, the starter may be defective. Cheap starters will have a 90 day warranty, better starter will have a 1 year warranty. The best starters from parts stores typically have a life time warranty. I don't recommend getting anything that doesn't have the lifetime warranty.

Common problem with remanufactured starters. that is why it is better to have small repairs done by a shop. They would replace free, I guess now your cousin has to.

Maybe you have a bad battery or he didn't get the wires tightened down like he should have check those first
