Im sick and tired of people saying you cant outrun the police in a car chase!???

IVE DONE IT BEFORE!!! So no one can say that it's not possible!!
I was driving an 07 Mustang gt...im not going to get into details about it because I dont want to get caught ...I was going East on a road I was racing a car that kept revving its engine at me so I floored it...than there was a stop light i barely was able to stop for......than i noticed a cop coming from the other direction so I just floored it cop turned his siren on i kept going straight about 2 miles and out of the side streets came 3 other cop cars they were all behind me (like I said Im not going to get into too much detail) I just kept going i was going over 100mph for sure than i madea aleft turn into the highway and I just floored it I hit 150mph and I tottally lost them!!!!
This was about 2am...
So for those of you who say that it isnt possible think again!!!

Sorry, no one is going to believe your story until you give proof. We will need times and dates and need to check with the police to make sure that there was really a police chase. Anyone can make up a story like yours.

If this is true, then you have an incredible inferiority complex and need extensive psychiatric help. That you were intimidated by a driver in another car who revved his engine so that you felt the need to prove your manhood by street racing shows a level of immaturity that is beyond words.

If, by your childish display of macho driving, you had caused an accident and injured any others, you should have the entire book of driving laws thrown at you.

If you had killed anyone besides yourself, the district attorney should have charged you with 2nd degree murder. Sadly for the rest of your community, your lawyer could argue a strong defense of insanity.

You should get your head examined from every possible angle, and a medical professional should decide whether you should really be driving. If it were up to me, you should lose your license for a year.

You are an idiot. It's too bad that Yahoo will not give your IP address to the local cops in your community so they could have a nice talk with you and straighten you out.

Since you can afford an "07 Mustang" (big whoop), you can also afford to pay for time at a local race track. Why don't you do that and drive as fast as you want, in a controlled environment?

I hope that you learn something about maturity from the other responses, show a new level of responsibility and drive with greater restraint.

First off, it sounds like a load of BS. The mustang GT won't pull past 130 mph because 5th gear is too much of a ratio to overcome the drag and speed of the car, 5th is made for highway fuel economy. You would need about a half mile of straight road to even reach 130mph safely(relatively). Then there is the fact that it was 2am. No traffic, no visibility, and you are in a quick car. As long as you are careful you could theoretically escape from the only 3 officers on duty at that hour. If the police really wanted you they would request Yahoo to give them any info on you so they can catch your felony evading self and teach you a lesson.

Whooo hooo you managed to get a 07 Mustang away from a police car, which in truth wasn't chasing you as it never happened and while we're at it a 95 Geo Metro isn't really a Mustang GT. I'm sick of dumb@$$es like you advocating running from the police, and endangering the lives of everybody else on the road. Have you no idea how many people have been killed or injured by putzes like you? You should be ashamed of yourself, and you will next time you hit a kid on a bike or a woman pushing a stroller. By the way, new laws in some provinces and states would have you classed as a racer and you would get to see your vehicle run through a crusher. I would pay to watch that!

Next time you try this you will probably wrap yourself around a light pole. I just hope you don't hit anyone else when you do. I will also say this....you didn't outrun them...They were given an order to "stand down" from the pursuit because it became unsafe for the public.

It's irresponsible but not impossible to out-run the police. The radio is another proposition. Oh, and getting caught really sucks. Especially when someone rats you off, ie; the loser of the race.

these days the police will not back off of a chase,and if you had actually gone that fast they wouldn't have stopped,it could be done back in the days of the true muscle cars,but these days they got better radios also,as well as faster cars,if you did this you was lucky,that's all their is to it,they might have backed off to keep you from wrecking and getting hurt,but you cant out run them if they don't want you too,i know i work on some of the interceptor cars,and you wont out run it,if they don't want you too,good luck,and be careful,you might have been lucky once,but it wont happen twice.
