I have a pontiac grand prix that has a bad supercharger and to get a rebuilt supercharger put on it will be about $430. Labor to get the part put on will be about $200. I am tempted to trade it in but it still seems like a pretty good car...just afraid something else will go wrong.

I need something dependable but the only thing that i can afford right now is a $1000 down payment on a new car if i choose the trade it in. Would a car dealer even work with me on this deal or should i just get the new supercharger??

“(Automakers) complain about government regulation, but it’s not like they have run their businesses so well on their own. There are car companies doing well, and there are many reasons why they are doing well, but one important one is they produce cars that are fuel-efficient and reliable, and we are talking about entire fleets here. The bottom line is Toyota is the leader in these areas because they were willing to think about these issues long before they were needed, and at a time when Detroit thought oil prices would be cheap forever,”
Associated Press

If the UAW was so concerned about losing jobs to foreign companies why did they ignore the need for better fuel economy and new technology?

Toyota and others thought about it long ago.
What did they know that no one else knew?

I found the perfect car for me on autotrader.com , however I can't find anyone to finance me. I tried several places but they just referred me to dealers in my local area.

I was approved by the local dealers but the car I want is in another state.

Is there anywhere online that can finance me without sending me to a local dealer? None of the local dealers have what I want.

Please help

Does anyone know where I can buy car seat covers for a Vauxhall Corsa?
I've tried Halfords but i'm not sure where else to look.
I'm on a budget but would like nice looking covers in a colour if possible.
Thanks x

My Mustang convertible was in the garage all winter and won't start up today. It's the battery, right? Well, I've never jump started a car, just watched a zillion times. Do you hook up the opposite colors? This is important so don't tell me something unless you're sure so I don't kill or maim myself.

I live in Buffalo, NY and I'm getting sick of negotiating our winters in my little coupe/death trap. I'm purchasing an SUV this summer, and instinctively want the AWD version. However, I'm finding that the cost of upgrading to AWD often puts most vehicles a little out of my price range, and I'd have to sacrifice some other features. Do I really nead AWD, or will the fact that it's an SUV be helpful enough? If it matters, I plan on keeping the car for at least 5 years and I plan on having children soon.

you know that all cars thats made overcease from USA is more better manufactured and everything...but Japanese cars seems like its just alot of snap on parts thats snapped on well done..but is cheap and can break easily from manhandling. But German cars(Mercedes) seems to be more tougher than Japanese cars..like built with heavy duty parts. Why does it seems like Mercedes is just alays a foot step higher than Lexus

I just passed my driver's test today and I was wondering why it would take so long to get my license (the card) in the mail. They said it takes 2 to 3 weeks, do they have a reason for that when in other states they will give it to you in the same day. Thanks.

I am living in Fairbanks AK, and well it gets pretty cold here (-40/-50 F) during the winter. I am looking into getting a new vehicle and have heard that a hybrid would not be an ideal vehicle here because they don't run well in cold weather. I am hoping someone can either confirm or deny this rumour, and if it wouldn't run, why not?

I don't understand why you people buy these big expensive SUVs. Please don't tell me because of safety. There are lots of cars that are just as safe. Is it to keep up with your neigbors?
