those are usually a dealer item - salvage yards hold them because they can sell the whole back end of the car ( a clip they call it) and make a lot of money off of it.

Junk yard. Ask for a tail light for '92 Sable. Simple. If they don't have it go to another junk yard. If they don't have it, go to your local Mercury dealer and buy a new piece.

i own a repair shop and i always go to a junk yard when i need parts like this ,they usually have a few of those cars around and there not too high on tail lights for one ,but that would be your best place to find one for it ,other than buying it new and I'm not sure you can get a new one for that one,but try a good junk yard they usually will have them, good luck i hope this helps.

car parts .com, keystone crash parts, LKQ in Melbourne FL let your fingers do the walking used parts are in the yellow pages, you will find many list under auto salvage or used auto parts.

I would go to a junk yard where the wrecked cars are, things are cheaper there. :)
