I need to know how I would deal with a vehicle that is from Canada but now in the US. The vehicle has ceased being drivable due to it's having mechanical failure. How would I go about getting rid of the vehicle, it can not be operated and I'd like to junk it. Any advice?

I'm wondering if oil field transportation rules fall under the same rules applied by the province of Alberta or do they have their own rules? I know that if a company only operates in Alberta they are regulated under the province but does that also mean that the drivers can work more hours as well. Also, do most oil field drivers get overtime after about 40 hours a week or does it vary a lot from company to company?/?

thanks for the reply, that is my concern, i cannot send my vehichle for a service to Korea, who is responsible in South Africa, to be specific in the western cape, it says driven by mecedez, but they do not work on these vehichles. If it is Kia, well, their service is so bad, and they do not have qualified staff for these imported cars, what do you suggest, do you train mechanics for South Africa, or how does it work. Do they keep spares in South Africa or do they have to order the spares from Korea, that can take up to 3-6months, what do we do in the meantime without a car

I like my Jag, but keep being told by cynics that it's an 'old man's car'!
Should I have to drive a Corsa, Saxo or similar hatchback because I'm in my 20s? If you think I should be driving something else, please suggest what 150mph sports 5-seater I SHOULD have bought on a budget of £14k for a three year old car, (Hint: I don't like 'chav' cars, but do like power and refinement.)

Thanks for your opinions, whatever they may be!
