Shock Horror, do 4 x 4's go offroad? I thought they never strayed out of Chelsea.!! You can drive anywhere you can get the landowner to give you permission. You could also join a green laning club although they are not very PC.

you're a very understanding pal. i can see the mission your pal is dealing with yet, i imagine you're actual, he proabably does no longer be in a position to apply his Russian licence orcontinual a moped in the united kingdom. Drink driving is a very extreme crime and the police would have the inforamtion on report for regardless of motorized vehicle he's utilising. If he were to have an twist of destiny or get stuck, the penanlties will be very extreme. once you've get admission to to a library, there's a e book suggested as Police regulation which will have the guidelines you're searching for for.

Join your local off-road club.
They will have organised events, and can provide maps of legal "green lanes".
Be aware that it is not advisable to go green-laning (or any other serious off roading on your own. It is advisable to have at least two vehicles, and proper recovery equipment (not a normal tow rope and towing eye - these are designed for towing on smooth roads, not off-road recovery), so that if one gets stuck the other can pull it free.
Find your local club at http://www.4x4-clubs.co.uk/
