Every time I answer a question related to French cars I point out the undisputable fact that they are cr*p. I am only doing my duty to save people from making the mistake of buying this junk. Surely this warrents a thumbs up?

Hey all,

I live in Portland, OR, and I just got my first speeding ticket on I-5 near woodburn. I am 20 years of age, and have had license for last two years. On the ticket, I have a court date set, and I plan on going too.

Ok now the thing is that I was speeding. Going about 95mph, but I didn't see the cop's car till I got near (behind) the car, and then slowed down to 60 mph, and then he pulled me over because he "saw me speeding in his rear mirror." He gave me ticket of 150$, but when he flagged me, I was going 60. On the ticket he wrote 85mph, and next to it, there's a box that says, "laser, radar or pace" and he didn't check any of those.

Do you think I should get away with it? What should my argument be? HELP!!

I AM FREAKING OUT LIKE CRAZY!!

It was a foreign commercial for V.W. .. I think.
I guy keeps hitting the car with a sledge hammer,
and then he switches to a tiny one... and starts l;ooking
along the lines of the car and smiling!

The next scene is him and a few friends cruising around in it smiling at girls.
He COMPLETELY changed the shape of his old POS car
and you can still see tiny dents...
but then he pulls up next to the real thing (the car he wanted his to look like)

I saw it online a few years ago, and I wanna see it again.
ANY IDEAS? PLEASE?

I've never owned a car that was a stick shift. I had this boyfriend at one point in my life. He wouldn't let me go anywhere. He basically was a control freak. The type of relationship where I couldn't go anywhere, do anything (that didn't include him), couldn't talk to any body, couldn't wear make up or perfume.... Anyways we had two trucks (one automatic and one stick shift). He would take the automatic to work everyday. I had to teach myself how to drive the stick shift. I only drove it in town and to important places only. He caught on to me driving it and parked it at his dads house and kept the keys. I got fed up and had my mom buy me a car, so I could leave the s.o.b.....5 years later.... I get married and my husband buys me a car that's a stick shift. I have been driving it for about a week now. I have to drive it back and forth to work (about 20 minute drive into town). I think I'm doing good. Should I worry about the clutch, transmission, or motor?

Hi Everyone -

This is for everyone that owns a Toyota Prius - 2003 - 2007 models.

Did you know that all the other Prius's sold around the world have an EV button? That means that they can push that button, and the battery will operate the vehicle a lot more then the engine. Toyota disabled this feature on all the North American sold Prius's. So, if you are liking that 60/59 MPG, how would you like 80/59?

The Prius you own has the capability to run on EV only mode. All you need is a couple wires. http://www.coastaletech.com/electric_only_mode.htm

Check out that link. I don't own the website, or have anything to do with them. It was just a result of a google.com search for Prius EV Mode. My Uncle owns a Prius, and did it himself. So, you can learn how to set it up, and buy your supplys from a hardware store if you want. E-Mail me if you decide to do this, I want to know!
