I have a job that requires me to travel all the time. I dont really have a home, but i used to live in cleveland. i have a beautiful toyota camry thats sitting in a garage in cleveland (my friends take care of it). I m currently in LA, was in Seattle for 4 months, and i dont know where i am going next. i dont want to sell my car cos i love it too much and i dont want to take a loss by selling it (its on finance). should i have the car shipped to california? i want your thoughts!

Well - I recently used www.2xlautotransport.com
and they were great and very competetive on rates! Drive-away service isnt much cheaper I checked on that too. :)

idea: put your personal items in the auto when its being shipped or if you decide to have it driven, could save shipping costs on your personal stuff......

Always ask for a certificate of insurance with you listed as the certificate holder when shipping - even with the driveaway service. very important!

Maybe keep in mind - drive it yourself too! :) good luck to you.

You could ship it, or have it transported by a driveaway service. The driveaway agency finds someone who wants to go from Cleveland to LA, and engages that person to drive the car. You pay half the fee to the agency up front, and the other half to the driver when he delivers the car. This could be cheaper than shipping.

you do know Sigmund Fried would say its just a car. A car that is a material item of insignificant value. Well at least in the grander scheme of things. Perhaps you can trade it for something that's actually going to be a collectible. Then garage keeping it would be cool till you slow your life style down. and it will happen.

i'm seeing alot of folk asserting have a pal tension it there. problem with it incredibly is that if hes no longer coated below your motor vehicle and he gets into an twist of destiny. Then your motor vehicle is worth no longer something. you have 2 thoughts. attempt to sell your motor vehicle for the whole volume you have left on your very own loan and purchase a sparkling one the place you're. or you may bypass out and %. it up and tension it to the place you're. i would not have it shipped reason if some thing happens to it. they're in charge for they damages they might do.
