Every time I answer a question related to French cars I point out the undisputable fact that they are cr*p. I am only doing my duty to save people from making the mistake of buying this junk. Surely this warrents a thumbs up?

Well, people will swear black is white to justify their purchase, or what they fancy, even if they know better. It is a truism that overall French cars are relatively unreliable and expensive to repair. Next to a house a car is the most expensive thing we own. Statistics are available from consumer surveys and companies who lease thousands of vehicles, all clearly painting the same picture. Why people ignore them, or think that another owners justification of their purchase is a reliable buying guide I really don't know. Tell me folks, are you on an ordinary income like me and happy to deliberately buy an unreliable and expensive to maintain car just because you like the look of it, or cannot be bothered to do a little research?

I was going to try to defend Froggymobiles & tell you that you got what you deserved, but when I thought about it, apart from a couple of old Citroens (DS & SM) I have to agree. They're pretty rubbish. Mate of mine has a new-shape Laguna & it's been back to the garage 4 times in 7 months. He's seriously p*ssed off with it!

Try sticking to useful intellectual questions about reality TV, celebrities, what's peoples favourite colour etc. That seems to be the only way to avoid violations!

I personally really like my Peugeot 206 but you are entitled to your opinion, perhaps you should try to word it more diplomatically.

Because you're tarnishing all french cars with the same brush.

It's a bit like saying all women have big asses. It simply isn't true for all of them.
