I heard that you can add washer to your forks, and it will stiffen them up, i have a 110cc pit bike, and the forks are to loose for me, if the washer thing is true where do i add the washers, and what else can i do to help them stiffen up, they are not inverted, and have no adjustment nob. thanks

got a gsx 250 petrol tank very rusty,none of it lose been stood a few years,

I need the name of these types of headsets, are they called motorcycle helmet headsets? or do they go by a different name?

Again from memory and may not be a perfectly correct quote and no idea of the verse itself. "God's Triumph could be heard in the heavens." Could be a Triumph motorcycle? On the other hand God may have a second car other than that Plymouth Fury? But with either seems after market exhaust is almost a certainty.

Hopefully no one takes me too seriously. Just a harmless joke and a bit of twisted semantics.

i am moving from san diego to albuquerque and im moving my motor cycle the uhaul place said there are places to strap stuff down inside but can i strap a motorcycle in there with out letting it fall? anyone use a uhaul recently is there place to strap large objects down?

I am planning on buying a 1976 Honda Cub 90 motorcycle. Apparently its only problem is that its carburettor leaks petrol. How difficult would that be to repair? I know nothing about motorcycles - would I have to get it serviced? And if so, how much would that be?

I bought a Kawasaki ER5 a few weeks back and ive just checked the coolant to find that the level is severely low. But it don't know what exactly i should and should do.

Do i just top it up or do i have to drain it and fill it up?
Where do i drain the coolant from?
What do i actually put in? Is it just antifreeze or do i buy something from a bike shop?
Where abouts between the lower and full line is the ideal amount of coolant?

I just have no idea about how the coolant side of looking after a motorcycle works. Can anyone help?

My battery on my bike has gone flat. Can I hook it up to a battery charger without disconnecting all the leads? It has a datatool alarm etc and am just wondering if doing that will damage anything. Id prefer not to have to unhook it all if poss. I did try to bump start it but with no success. Its been out in the cold tooooo long. Well few weeks anyway without being ridden.

I did read somewhere not to use a battery charger you would use on your car but mine does have a switch for a bike so guess its ok. I have never had to charge the battery on my bike before!

bike will run just fine while in motion, but when you come to a stop it will die. I have to keep the rpms up to keep it going. please help

A couple days ago y was riding my 2003 Bandit-S 600, got to a toll booth, made the paymente and draged pressing the throttle to release al the hps of my bike, but... close to 10,000 rpms it went off, completely off ... all lights went off and the engine too, even the speedmeter and odometer got frozen. Just the oil light was quite lit but ... blinking as if something were fault. After 10 minutes of pushing 400 pounds to the nearest safe place I tried to start the engine and it started, everithing seemed fine, but my bike is doing this every now wnd then. Another hint is the clock goes 12:00 as if I had disconencted the battery yet it is firmely connected.

And how much will it cost? There is a motorbike I am looking at on ebay but the person says he will not transport it. I need a way of getting it from Sheffield to London. I can't ride it down either because I have yet to take my CBT test.

Hey everyone, I've been scrambles since i was 12 years old. Never raced motoX or superX. I'm currently riding a YZ125 and haven't done a scramble in a while, just trail riding all over the state, but I've rode about every kind of bike you can name. So i have experience with bikes.

I'm turning 19 soon, Looking to get into a sportbike. This is a sort of unfamiliar territory to me so any help is appreciated. But i've just started researching the bikes. The first two that jumped out at me were the 750 katana and the R6 (yamaha fan). Which of those two bikes would you look for to get the "best bang for your buck"?

I'm not looking to get into any stunts, just a casual rider. My ears are open to ANY suggestions or recommendations you have for any other bikes!! I'm just looking for a solid bike all around and somewhere to start. Thanks in advance to everyone!!

It's an '05 Suzuki GSX-R 600 red/black got roughly 7,500 miles. I bought it for $8,000 got about $2000-$2500 in extras. Never been down. 6000K HID kit in the projector headlight, python alarm system, hotbodies racing undertail with led turnsignals, hotbodies racing flushmount front led signals, hotbodies racing rear tire hugger, double bubble smoked windscreen, BMC Racing air filter, black frame sliders, FULL EXHAUST (header back) Yoshimura Tri-oval carbon fiber exhaust, Power Commander III, New Pirelli Diablo rear tire (about 500 miles on it now), tank pad protector, can't think of anythin else at the moment. How much you think?
