I heard that you can add washer to your forks, and it will stiffen them up, i have a 110cc pit bike, and the forks are to loose for me, if the washer thing is true where do i add the washers, and what else can i do to help them stiffen up, they are not inverted, and have no adjustment nob. thanks

one by bycecile you can add oil to the shocks to stiffen them up so you should look on the bottom or top for a hex bolt wear you can add oil

You need to take the fork cap off. On top of the spring you can put small tubes about 4 to 6 inches in length to stiffen up the suspension, or you can cut a spring the same as the one in the fork to a length of about 4 inches and add that to the length of the stock spring to stiffen them up. I'm not sure washers would be thick enough to stiffen the suspension.

adding washers to take up space and compress the spring more, or as said above, cut the spring (this will increase the spring rate) and then add a spacer; this will increase the preload

If your compression dampening is too weak, you can add a thicker oil.

Pit bikes have become pretty popular lately... I bet you could order stiffer springs for the forks.

On my 1000, I used a large hex nut approximately 1 inch thick in each tube between the spring and the threaded cap on top. It really helped support a heavily loaded fairing.
