Want to ride with women sport bike/euro bike riders for hill country rides and tours

Want to find women who ride sport bike/euro bikes for hill country (I'm in Austin, Texas) rides and tours. (FYI, I'm not a lesbian, but that doesn't really make any difference if you want to ride.)

There are, actually, alot of women that ride sportbikes in the Austin area, I can think of 10 just off the top of my head. One place to go is the Texas forum on Cycleforums.com. Here's the link: http://www.cycleforums.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=145

The majority of users are guys, but most of the women post on that board. They have a seperate forum for women only, called "cycle angels". Here's the link for that one:

The women on Cycle Angels are from all over the world and are mostly sportbike riders.

I've been looking for that for quite some time now! Just a joke, there. Not sure if you can see the skinny little guy on the hog in the avatar pic. Have you heard of Ladies of Harley? Lot's of them ride. Sport bikes, (They mostly start out on XL 883's or 1200's. And Buells. And they ain't manufacturer snobs. At least, most of 'em ain't.)

Thing about LOH is they do rides alot with the guys. They have their weekend outings by themselves, but when it's a dinner night everyone goes. Gals, guys, and in between. And then you gotta worry about them trying to get you to switch to a hog. (Oh yeah, it's like an tupperwear party and all the stuff is H-D!)

I belong to H.O.G., and overall they are a pretty good group here in Sarasota. The Port Charlotte bunch is OK too. No posturing, no my stuff is better than yours. (They just won't let you wear a H.O.G. patch unless you actually got a hog.) Lot's of activities for any and all riders of any type of bike. Just a fun day out. Lately it's been toy's for tot's kinda stuff and they take anyone with a toy, even squids!

Best I can do for 'ya, Ma'am. Hope you find what you are lookin' for over there where I spent many of my early years in Garland, and Richardson, TX. If that don't work, come to the next Daytona here in Florida. You'll find most of us are just as nice as y'all are. Take care, ride safe. Ciao!

bingo... you are in luck to some degree.

check out the Team Moto Diva forum on the Texas Offroad Network.

this is a state wide group organized a few years back for dirt biking ... alot are in the Austin area and there are also several that have street bikes or Dual Sport bikes for rides out in the hill country too.

at least they might can point you in the right direction for other females that ride street in the Austin area.

also check out Austin MotoSport Association http://www.amsaclub.org/ for a very family friendly group of dirt bike riders but alot also have street bikes...

One of the best ways is to visit any local motorcycle dealers: some sponsor their own clubs, or are rendezvous points for local clubs. Just ask any of the folks who work their or check their bulletin board.
