I know i seen people on base while i was in the army riding in the army helmets. I figure if they are strong enough to stop a bullet they should be good enough on the road. If anyone knows where i can find this answer please let me know. Thanks.

"Your grade was 58 (from 0 to 100) . . . A higher grade indicates a stronger sense of common decency, and a lower grade is an indication of conspicuous squidliness and general disregard for civilized society. Your score indicates that you are an idiot whose driving license should be taken away and replaced with a tricycle."

The older I get, the less I like motorcyclists.

They seem to have only two ways of driving. They're often reckless and weave in and out of traffic. A lot of them like to tailgate. They rev up their engines in residential neighborhoods.

Those who don't drive recklessly usually are driving in a stately, slow manner that clogs up traffic. They look so smug and self-satisfied as they drive 5-10 MPH below the speed limit.

Then there are those motorcycle groups that think it is their God-given right to hog the highway or drive all together through a small town. They'll often park in one area, and generally increase the rowdiness of the area.

Also, the idiots who keep pushing for no-helmet laws.

And the jerks who play their music really loudly.

Spring is in the air, and so is the noise of these miserable motorcyclists...

What is the standard gauge wire on a motorcycle? I have a 1996 Honda Shadow vlx 600. It seems to me like it is a #16 or #18 stranded.

Some hater keyed my bike! It was actually like this when I bought it, I figured it would be no big deal to fix since it is almost all on the sticker. check out the damage!

first link is the fiche for the lower fairing, second is a better picture of my lower fairing. From what I can tell there are 4(?) separate stickers on the fairing: The suzuki emblem, the decal at the top of the piece, and the gsx and the r emblems overlaid on top of the last decal. To replace the sticker that got keyed I would need to replace all of these except for the suzuki emblem.

If so where is it? Also, any tipps for cleaning out my gas tank. It was pretty bad from long term storage. I ran about two gallons of gas through it with the fuel pump. Looks a lot better, but still has surface rust inside.

I have heard that you can knock out the baffles of stock mufflers to increase or improve the sound. Can this be done and are there any problems or recommendations if doing that.

One of my buddies sold his full leathers because little kids would swarm around him asking him to transform.

Do you look like a Power Ranger? Which one? Or do you look like a poser outlaw? When I say that, I mean having a pristine Harley with unscratched leathers, polished boots, and designer sunglasses.

Personnally, I prefer my Kawi jacket, blue jeans, and work boots.

I've looked on the Dainese motorcycle website, but unfortunately they use a european size chart ranging from 40 to 50 and translate that to an american 8 to 18, obviously incorrect. I'd also like to know if the boots, helmets, and gloves run large or small. Thanks in advance.
