I'm 40 yrs old but I still like bmx bikes, loved them since I was a kid in the 70's and 80's Question is do you think it's childish to want to buy a bike that reminds me of my childhood?

Ok, I am looking to get a sport bike and I want a lime green one with pink graphics. I have seen it before on the street but i am searching brands and calling people and everyone says I would have to custom paint it. Does anyone know of a brand that makes one stock lime green and pink?

I just bought a 1990 Kawasaki EX500. The day after I picked up the bike I went to start it and all it did was click. So I took the battery and had it charged and tested and it was good. I brought it home and put it in the bike and it started right up. Then today it wouldn't start again so I charged the battery and it started right up. I went for a ride and stopped to talk to a friend at the beginning of my subdivision so I shut off the bike. When I went to start it all it did was click so I had to walk it home. I was just wondering if there is an alternator or something that continually charges the battery while it is running to keep it charged up so that you can start the bike the next time.

Okay I was recently pulled over by a cop and arrested and ticketed for driving without a operators license, The DOL in my state says that if its under 50 ccs and doesn't go faster than 35 mph then i don't need a license or a motorcycle endorsment, now can someone find this information so i can print it for my court date, cause if this information is false that my DOL is providing me then im totally screwed....Btw My State is Washington

Changing motors on my 1990 GSX600F katana to a 1999 GSX600F motor. I need to reuse my old carbs. The problem is that they changed carbs in 1998 to Mikuni BSR32SS as compared to my older Mikuni BST32 carbs. They look very similar, the bore and stroke remained the same throughout the years. The horespower level only raised by 6 between the years. All that said I'm thinking they should be alright. I would just like somebody elses input on the situation.

thanks

Do any bikers agree that the police are absolutely pathetic when it comes to catching and convicting car drivers who kill and injure motorbikers. 5 years ago me and my boyfriend were knocked off of his bike by a smackhead in a hit and run. I am now unable to work full time and having had several operations will need more. The police knew who it was but said it wasn't worth pursuing because he had already been jailed for something else! Then last year my boyfriend was nearly killed by some d**khead who decided to turn into a farmers field at the last minute as my boyfriend was overtaking him. The officer in charge wasn't even a trained traffic cop and the whole investigation was pathetic. The lad who was driving the car had just finished a 16 month ban for drink driving but the police neglected to mention this and I found it out myself on B4U search. It just seems to me that the police automatically assume that the biker is at fault, anyone agree?

I passed my motorbike test in the mid '70's . At that time you could buy a bike up to 250cc and bung a set of L plates on it and once you thought you were proficient enough put in for a test and as long as you didn't fall off while the tester was watching you got your full license and could then ride anything you could affrord. I had some real tools ...BSA Rocket3 ..(leaked too much oil) so got a 750cc 2 stroke Kawasaki...(couldn't keep the front wheel down) so got a 900 Z1...(could get round bends fast enough) so got a.Ducati 900ss...( rusted away) so got a Laverda Jota 1000... (topped up too many endorsments) so bought a car,got married ,bought a house, had kids ...God I'm fed up..so will my old licese still allow me to ride any size bike and will my old Barry Sheen replica Black King helmet and visor still be legal?

The above link will take you to the Pennsylvania DMW Motorcycle practice test. There are only 25 questions so it won't take you that long. Be honest and post your results and opinions of the test in your answer. Also, be respectful....be honest. I scored a 22 correct out of 25. I got question number 1, 13 & 22 wrong for a grade of 88%
I totally disagree with the correct answer given for # 22.

I can not understand why they hate each other. I personally was raised on horses and have broke more than my share. I also have been riding bikes for over 30 years. It don't matter which type of pony I am on I get the same feeling of freedom and to me thats what is the important part. Maybe if people were not so critical of other peoples interests we could enjoy our own personal interests more completely. I am not specifically religious but somewhere in the bible I believe it says "judge not least ye be judged".
