I have been a pillion on a bike and had a car driver give us eye contact then they tried to run us off the road. This happened more than 10 years ago but I will never forget it and I am remembering it even more now that I am soon to get my bike licence.
My question is why on earth would they do that?
I would love it if one of those crazy people read this and could answer my question honestly...

I want to put a cone air filter on my 1996 Honda Shadow vlx 600. I found a picture of the same bike with one on it at bikepics.com but I can't get ahold of the guy that did it. I'm pretty sure I have to modify the air cleaner box.

I'm looking to buy my first bike and I like the Sportster 1200, but they look pretty small. I'm 6'4 with long legs and arms and I was wondering if the sportster would be a comfortable ride or if it would be too small.
If there are any other tall people out there that own or have riden a sportster please give me any input you can.
I'm planning to go to a dealership and take a test ride, but until then I could use any info I can get

Thanks

On my 89' Ninja 750, the new rear tire has scared me more than a few times. VERY slippery at first (which I hear is normal) but now I have about 80 miles on it and I still will slip on a decent right turn, for example. On Friday, I was out in 60 degree weather and I turned right, the wheel slipped and my right foot kicked the ground HARD in response and somehow I did not go down. There must be a better, safer way than this to break in the edges of tires? I am not even taking a knee or anything crazy!

The other day I was going up a hill in 1st and shifted to 2nd too soon and the engine shut down and I came to a sudden stop. I started right back up and continued on my way. Could this have done any damage? It was from what I can tell fine the rest of the ride. Could any damage ever be done from a small mistake like this? The atv is a Raptor 660.

I replaced the front brake lever on my '05 CBR1000RR and bled the brake system several times. I even purchased and used a professional bleeder kit with a hand pump. The brakes continue to gradually build up pressure until the pistons on the calipers are fully expanded and won't retract. Even when I crack a bleeder valve to relieve pressure, they still build up pressure over time until I bleed some more fluid. What should I do?????

My hubby wants to weld something to his motorcycle frame(steel), what would be the best mig welder for this? Also, is there a welder that works well, and is not totally expensive? Thanks for your help.

Just got a look at the Nighster. It looks like it was put together in the back of a junk yard. Plain butt ugly! Would you place $10,000 on the counter to buy one of these? If so, why? It looks like an old used bike out of the crate.

Have just stripped and rebuilt the front calipers on the ZZR. Have put everything back together , filled up the reservoir and began pumping the lever. Have had zero success in getting any fluid from the reservoir into the hoses etc while bleeding from either caliper. Any hints. tips, trick tools etc gratefully accepted for hopefully a quick fix.

This might sound like a very crazy request but i love motor bikes, unfortunately I don’t have my own license to ride one here in the UK, but even just being a passenger on one gives me such a buzz, that I want to know if there is anybody that would fancy going out for a couple hours with me on their bike, so that i can relive that excitement i get on a bike.

I have my own helmet, jacket, gloves and kit, I’m a 21 year old female and weigh under 60 kilos and if you own a full bike license or know someone that does, and is up for going out somewhere for the day, then please drop me an email on - cutesmile2007@hotmail.co.uk

I like sportier looking bikes. The only problem is that we are only allowed 250 cc for the first year.

If you make a suggestion, could you please advise why? Also, could you please comment on the costs of repairs and maintaining bikes?

What is the smallest screen I can fit that will still be effective in diverting some of the noise and windblast. Also the stock silencers are very quite when riding, such that I get very little feedback from the motor. Your advice appreciated.
