I used to ride with a guy who had a Laverda. It was the only one I have ever seen in the states. Being an Italian bike, perhaps parts are a little easier to come by in the UK (only because of geography), but I still wouldn't bet on it.

It was a big triple that really didn't feel very comfortable until you got it above legal speeds. THEN it settled down, smoothed out and just flew. Neat bike. This was back in the early 80's, and they were expensive then. I don't imagine that has changed.

I have heard of them. I don't know where you are at, but I live in California and Laverdas are very rare. Where would a person get parts for a motorcycle when there are no dealers around for hundreds of miles ? You will need to find somebody you collects Laverdas or such for a decent price.
