I can not understand why they hate each other. I personally was raised on horses and have broke more than my share. I also have been riding bikes for over 30 years. It don't matter which type of pony I am on I get the same feeling of freedom and to me thats what is the important part. Maybe if people were not so critical of other peoples interests we could enjoy our own personal interests more completely. I am not specifically religious but somewhere in the bible I believe it says "judge not least ye be judged".

Strech: you have a valid point, by breaking down the classifications we still have conflict. The Posers and wanna-bes, the bikers and cowboys. However there is still conflict between any of them. We could even break it down more between cruiser riders and sport riders, rodeo cowboys and working cowboys, harley riders and metric riders, ect... That is the reason I lumped them into general catagories. I have however seen conflict between the "old timers" also, being one myself. Remember the posers and wanna-bes are the ones seen more by the general population than the true bikers or cowboys.

First off, I totally agree with your statement.
That said, are you talking about the modern "biker" (i. e. R. U. B., POSER), or the old time biker from 30 years ago?
I'm in the latter category.
I myself do not have any problems with cowboys.
Both the old time bikers and old time cowboys were almost like left overs from a bygone era, where people fended for themselves, not depending on the government to take care of them, and sometimes having to live by their wits, while preferring that the government, and others keep out of their lives.

The main problem seems to be the lack of consideration by modern bikers. The old-timers are fine, but these young guys on really loud bikes are too convinced of their own machismo to realise what poseurs they really are. Also, a lot of these bikers ride on horse trails, and their ridiculously loud exhaust pipes can frighten the horses.

I wasn't aware there is any kind of conflict between bikers and cowboys, weird. Like is there a conflict between construction workers and pirates???
The biker probably smells worse than the cowboy, but have similar drinking habits.

Just the funny hat in my opinion. All people should have respect for each other and this world would be a better place.
Although I know some that deserve no respect.

Ride on,no matter which pony you're on.
