Haynes electrical motorbooks.
They do a manual from basic electrics to advanced systems. Not too bike specific but covers a lot of stuff. About $20.00 US

would be easier to help if I knew the problem....bikes run a 12 or 6 volt dc system.. the negative is the earth & is connected to the frame. the positive runs down the wires to the globe/horn/starter motor...etc.. switches in the system allow you to turn things on & off.. wires are color coded to make it easier to trace the wires..

not sure if this helps coz I dont know how much you already understand..

every king classic i know of have charging problems. all have Ben in behind the head light a small single connector that runs all power through a small white connector find it it will be the warm one after you run it with all lights on. replace it or bypass it . that connector has sold more kings and glides at low prices, then any other ailment!
