I'm 40 yrs old but I still like bmx bikes, loved them since I was a kid in the 70's and 80's Question is do you think it's childish to want to buy a bike that reminds me of my childhood?

Dude. You're an adult. That means you get to do whatever the hell you want as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else. Sounds like a good way to have fun and stay in shape. Go for it.

Motorcycle content: riding a bicycle uses a lot of the same muscles used for racing, motocross, and off-roading. All the pros have a bicycle in their race haulers.

18 to 23 inch genuine tubes, short, and small... 20 inch wheels yet some will be discovered with 24 inch wheels... sure sluggish yet maximum are not to any extent further very heavy, compared to a highway bike or song bike that weighs like 10 pounds they're heavy, a reliable bmx bike will overall in weight of 20 to 20-5 pounds... made for tricks ... there is yet another classification of bmx equipped only for racing that are way lighter

ABSOLUTELY NOT!

There is nothing childish about doing something that brings you enjoyment, fond memories, etc. This is of course as long as it doesn't affect others negatively...which your situation obviously doesn't.

What IS childish is someone dissing you for it.

I am 44 years old and I still do lots of things some might challenge (in their infinite idiocy) as "childish". I watch cartoons, I play tag in the ice rink, I roll around in the grass with my dogs and kids, I do paintballing, shoot potato guns, snowball fights, water guns, and who knows what else. I like having fun and I don't give a crap what anyone else thinks either.

Go for it! It is not childish. It is nostalgic.
