Depends on where and who you buy it from. If you buy it in a warm state they might be cheaper because there is si many to chose from. And who you buy it from. I got a "to good to be true deal" beacuse i bought a used bike from a freind of mine and he just wanted to get rid of it cuz he just got married and had a son. I have the Honda RVT 1000R or the RC51 i got it for 4500 with only 4,864 miles on it when over the net that same bike will fetch $6,500 with twice as many miles.
My point being is that you have to shop around and take your time if you really wanna find a good deal. If your wondering how much bikes cost brand new then it depends on the kind of bike you want.
1. Harley bikes start at about $15000 brand new
2. The Jap superbikes start at about $7000 for a 600cc
and about $11000 for a 1000cc
3. Ducatis and Aprilias superbikes start at about $20000
for a new bike.
So no what you want then take your time and shop around.
