I just bought a motorcycle and when I got it home I discovered that the front wheel will turn all the way right and back straight again, but not left....does anyone know why this might be? thanks

Maybe it's a flat track or Speedway bike! I would agree that you should check your cables for proper routing if not the other suggestions. They(cables) can limit steering travel if not routed correctly.

Let me guess, you drove it home and it was OK. Turned it off and now it is "right turn only"... Sounds like you accidentally actuated the fork lock when the wheel was turned to the right. Try re-inserting the key, turn it to the "on" position and see if the forks will turn left now.

The lock position on most is counterclockwise to the left, beyond the "off" position.

You screwed up and bought a right handed motorcycle.

theres a lock on the triple tree, usually it would lock it into the full left, if it was locked when it was strait it may just lock it out of left.

look for a keyhole at the top of your shock

there is a part in the frame where they connect that limits side to side steering and its out of place, needs adjusting or needs to be replaced.
