for no reason. and the front end shakes greatly it has done this since new any thoughts.

It sounds like a defefctive brake disc. You should have notified the dealer when you first noticed this problem. At this point you will need to buy new brake discs and pads together. This should solve the problem.

The disk cracks? Man, that would take some serious force!

Sounds like the brake hub has issues.

The vibration can be from the brake hub problems, or a symptom of some bad front end alignment or bearing problems.

Stupid question, have you tried riding with the front brake rotors removed? Does the vibration go away?

If it's not the hub, and it's actually cracking rotors, I'd really recommend taking it to a qualified shop to have it checked over completely.
