we were given travelers checks to hold in case he damaged our bike,he then proceeded to take them back and say he was not going to pay and then turn around and say he was going to sue for hospital bills we have about 6 witnesses to the man saying he knew how to handle this motorcycle, and that he wanted to buy it we also had everything filled out and were on our way to notorize it when he wanted to test drive it.He didn't even make it out of the driveway and shot across the street and into the ditch totally submerging the moto in raw sewage. Then in front of the same witnesses told my husband that its his fault he is going to either buy the bike or pay for damages. What can we do about all this?

If I had put on a tweed jacket and hitched up my corduroy trousers up to my armpits and drove a motability scooter down the same aisle, I would have been welcomed with open arms.
Is this yet another example of the anti motorbike feeling in this country?

I have a seized engine after someone tampered with the carburetor! Initially the problem was that turning the throttle fully would cause the bike to jack.

My husband is selling his motorcycle to another gentleman today and he is transferring the title over to this man. Do we need to remove the license plate that we have on the motorcycle, or will it be okay to keep the license plate on the bike since the purchaser will now have the title?

My husband just got a new motorbike and wants to use his PDA which has a GPS on it. The only thing is that when you use the GPS it runs the battery low really fast. In the car this would be overcome easily by just plugging the car lighter adaptor in - but bikes dont come with that!
I reckon that there must be people out there who have had this issue before.
Any help appreciated!

i have a 50 cc scooter, not a moped. it is street legal and i use it a lot. there is only one problem, if you throtle down all the way, it sounds and feels like it is choking or stalling. you have to keep the throtle in the middle to keep it going fast. how do i fix this problem. it does not have a choke on it that i can access.

I have asked about the CDI box but it runs so it's not that. I have changed the wiring harness and the relay boxes. I have cleaned out the carb numerous times. The stator and and coil were replaced.

I build choppers, but heard that the laws are changing. Do you have to be a manufacturer to build bikes.

Screwdrivers of various sizes are not so helpful unless disassembled. ALSO, the repair books are pretty sketchy as to how many of turns and to what degree the screw should be turned. I have a 140 in is for the main and I forgot to look for the other while I had it apart. I have been at approx 2.5 turns out currently
