I want traffic to hear me before they see me. will it hurt the bike's motor. the kit cost $200.00 if I dont need it that would be great.

Loud pipes are a total myth, but a loud horn works better.
And you can't reject, because it's fuel injected. Hence why she is asking about a power modual (The DynoJet Power Commander III is a good choice)
And, if you get aftermarket pipes, you are going to run leaner, which will lead to some back-firing. Here's what to do; buy the pipes, get a high-flow air filter (like a BMC or K&N brand), and then the Power Commander. Have a shop install it and download the map for the PC3 and run it. You'll be better off running a PC3 but you don't have to, it's just a good idea.

I don't know why you would ne a power modual kit for aftermartet pipes....

My V-Star....I put on an aftermarket hyper charger......cobra pipes (took out the baffles.....sounds big.....lots of looks)

JUST MAKE SURE TO REJET IF IT NEEDS

Your money would be better spent on an air horn. Loud pipes as a safety device is a myth.
