Age 41, Planning to Switch to Motorcycle in Marietta, GA. My reasoning:
1. Driven Motorcycle for about 12 years in my 20-early 30s (before I Migrated to USA) - No issues about driving skills
2. Plan to drive only in the City Roads (Home-Work ~9 miles City Roads). Dont plan driving on Freeway or Long distances
3. Save on High Gas costs
4. Love Motorcycle riding
Qs:
1. I hear it is a risk in US since Car drivers who dominate the road dont see a M/c... Not sure if this is the case for City Roads too.
2. Have a good Driving record in US for several years: -Any ball Park on what Insurance cost would be?
3.Looking for a used Motrorcycle : Advise me on the best make and Model - Budget 5K
4. Any other tip

I took my motorcycle in for repairs after an accident. The repair shop subletted out the painting portion of the repair. I paid the repair shop in full for all the repairs which included the paint job. The paint job was unsatisfactory. There were scratches in the paint where tape was removed. Who is responsible for the work done the reair shop or the person it was subletted to. And who do I contact for reimbursement?

I've always admired them, but am a novice. What types of criteria should I use to seperate the good from the bad? Am I better off looking at 60's, 50's? Just starting out, so bring me in. I'm in Chicago too.

I got it and it starts and idles fine but it acts like its not getting enough fuel or to much air..The Timing, plugs, vac.lines, carbs(jets, floats, tank, lines, ect) were all checked & cleaned out good.If i spray the carbs it revs great! When riding it runs good at times, then it will start bogging(feels like a fouled plug, but its not).when i get on it..I tried blocking some airflow, running fuel stright too carbs and it still boggs on accelleration..Fuel pump clicks but gas just runs out with no differance. Is it suposed too pump it from tank into carbs under pressure??please help..rev.Pat 562-708-3931

It seems that ink and oil go well together, espescially during the months of June and August.
What have you got and where?

When I first turn the ignition, it sounds like it's gonna turn over but then goes into a constant clicking. There is plenty of gas and the battery has power. It is a 2004 Buell Blast. Can anyone help? Thanks

Hello,

Im wondering what kind of bike to get as a beginner bike. I dont care about speed as much for the looks off the bike. And also not a agressive riding position either. Im really into Ducati's so I was thinking of getting a Ducati 748s. You guys think I'll be able to handle a 748,749s ??

ok, i am 5'1" tall... short i guess i should say. but i am thinking of getting a cruiser, but i wonder if my legs and arms will be long enough for it... i would LOVE a Harley V-Rod or the Honda VTX1300S, but i don't even want to get my hopes up.

any ideas?

I think the rod is knocking. I only have 700 dollars in the whole bike. What would it cost to do this if i took it to a shop and is it feisable? Ive already done alot of work to it to get it running. but i did all that myself
