1. Cover the back brake. It will stop you from flipping over backwards if you go too far.
2. Accelerate at about 1/4 throttle through 20-30 mph.
3. Squeeze the clutch.
4. Roll on more throttle.
5. Let out the clutch.

Depends on your bike. If its a sports bike like a R6 then just move off and power it in first gear. If its a dirt bike like a honda crf450 or even a xr250 then power it in 1st or second gear. For ordinary bikes then you will have to move off, pull in the clutch , rev up then release the clutch at high revs.
But why do you want to do wheelies anyway. If you really need to ride on one wheel then why not get a uni cycle?

If you are going to try - #1 MOST IMPORTANT - The rear brake is your savior. Touch the brake pedal and your back on the ground. Feather the R brake to keep from going over backwards. Before trying to ride 12 o'clock, practice bringing up the F wheel a foot or two and hit the R brake.
Gas to go up, brake to come down. When you're 12 o'clocking, it's a balance between gas and brake.

man just don't. all you stunters oout there tellin him to grip it and rip it are retarded. you are gonna get this poor kid killed. If you really wanna learn find someone who already knows how and get them to walk you through it in person. a lot depends on the bike itself I don't need clutch on my SV. I can just rip it but if he's on a CBR its a whole new ballgame. I would personaly just ride. screw all that stuntin crap those are the guys that give sport bike riders a bad name.
