I'm in my mid-thirties and I have never seen two women riding on a motorcycle until today. I have always seen a single person, or a woman and a man. I live in Georgia, USA and have lived in Florida and North Carolina as well. Has any one else seen this before? Is it more common in other places in the world? No reason for wanting to know other than curiousity.

Older Cg125's (brazil models) the main lights wont come on until the engine is running. Due to the fact they are fed off the yellow wire- the ac generator output- insted of battery positive feed.
The only things fed from the battery is, the ignition system, horn, indicators and brake light.
So because of my electrical problem(originally thought was a defective gen..) i found a yellow wire spare , and i wander if that is suposed to be connected to the lighting circuit like earlier models?

If someone has a 2002 model and could look in the owners manual to see where the yellow wire goes, or could look in the headlight bowl for a yellow wire that goes to the headlight switches.

I recently purchased a 1993 Seca II. It runs fine, but the man I purchased it from bought it at 9,000 miles. It now has 19K miles and he said he never did a tune up. Just lubed the chain, changed the oil. He said I might want to have it tuned up. I was going to take it to a professional because I do not know much about motorcycles. How much does the average tune up cost? What should I expect to pay? Where could I purchase the parts? I would like to learn how to do all the work on the motorcycle myself, I won't learn any younger. I just don't know where to start. Any help would be much appreciated.

I am amazed of the number of people who clearly do not ride or have any knowledge of motorcycles yet feel they know what is best for us. It makes me laugh when a non-rider tries to tell me how to ride or what to wear. http://www.fastfreds.com/articles/editor-bio.html

2 years ago I got my motorcycle learners permit.Last May after I passed the Motorcycle Safety class and getting my endorsement my boyfriend gave me a 2005 Harley Davidson Sportster 883. He won't let me go out alone. He says women don't ride alone. Now granted it's my bike in his name and his insurance and it's about 250 pounds heavier than the Honda Rebel I learned on, so I understand him wanting to be with me while on it, but he doesn't feel I should get my own eventually and ride by myself. How does everyone else feel on that.

Given, if our cars were that loud with blue neon lights rumbling neighborhoods in large groups.. we'd get pulled over like the gumball rally attempting America in thier exotic cars. What makes them legal on thier machines.. some with no suspension? and most with straight pipes going beyond 90 decibals. What a threatening joy (sarcasm) to sit beside, or behind them at a redlight, as most don't hesitate to yell over thier machines' noise "Sh*t, ***, f*ck, p*ss, or c*nt" in ways I never thought possible. That is not America. That is jackasses on bad machinery. If they are claiming to be some kind of pride for thier country, oh so tough... why don't they care for people around them? I hope a "tough guy" harley davidson fan responds with an intelligent quotient legible enough to read and understand. I really want to know... what is your purpose to be so "scary" ? I am a disabled veteran. I have got a problem with you. I just enlisted in my local American Legion post, and I don't like bikers
