Idiots always want to bring this up. The standard designation for any motor thats shaped in a Vee no matter if its 45/60/90/120 or anything in between is considered a V and if a twin a V twin. This is just another ducati elitist thing from the posing crowd, true Duc riders no its a bunch of crap.

To resemble a capital 'L' , one cylinder would have to be marginally shorter than the other, so it must be a 'V'
