If I had put on a tweed jacket and hitched up my corduroy trousers up to my armpits and drove a motability scooter down the same aisle, I would have been welcomed with open arms.
Is this yet another example of the anti motorbike feeling in this country?

The truth is, the motability scooter cant go faster than 10 or 15 odd miles an hour.
Plus someone with a tweed jacket seems less intimadating than some prat chav on a mini moto, that shoulb be hanging out at his council estate, and not scaring old folks at ASDA.

Yep, Asdas close at 4pm and Tescos close at 3:30pm, the only place on a sunday night which you're probably to get any procuring is a 24 hour storage like Bugens or someplace. This bugs me too lol

Its probably that they're jealous Volvo drivers that couldn't get their oversized barges down it themselves. They'll more than likely be the same ones who are riding their scooters down the aisle anyway. Why not get a large (litre sized?) engine and transplant it into a mobility scooter, and try again!

yes, of course it is... i was advised to goto iceland in the recent heatwave...they got really pished when i jammed my honda chop between the freezers...

and i get it from both sides, i lost my leg on a bike back in 83, the stores think im a professional shoplifter.. long hair beard etc, and when i get into my volvo all the bikers think im an old duffer... and ive still got my BMW k100rs...and the xs650 yam... and its poetic justice...bikers get nicked for speeding... volvo man drives past with a cheery wave..
