It can be done however, it would be cheaper to buy a newer bike w/ ABS.

You have to change the rotors front & rear to the ABS rotors
Add the sensors to the wheel
Redo the brake lines to use the centralized ABS pump/controller.
Sure I'm missing some other stuff...

Just the parts cost is overwhelming.

Very difficult (read expensive) to retro fit - provided it was originally available.

If it was not available then engineering it from the ground up will be nigh on impossible.
