I'm considering buying a Katana 750 but I just don't know how comfortable I'll be on it. I'm 6'4 and worry that I'll have trouble shifting the gears because of long legs. Any tall people out there, help me out.

A couple of days ago I thought I would really suprise my Husband by cleaning and doing his bike up for him. I spent two and a half hours T-cutting the plastics, polishing the metal work and oiling the chain. After I finished it gleamed and I felt really proud. I went to move it to place it into the garage so he would see the suprise in the morning, however this is where the problem started. I fell over with it and the bike hit me then the floor, I tried to get it to land on me to soften the crash so it wouldn't damage the bike too much. We picked it up and he left it on the stand ten minutes later it fell over and smashed into the brick wall. I spent the whole night feeling really sh*ty and promised to make it up and repair it. He has been brilliant and says it doesn't matter, doesn't stop me feeling bad. I bought him a minimoto to make up for it. Do you reckon he is ok with me? Or is he just putting on a front for my sake? Would what you do?

Ok, all good points, except a couple. One said racers use different helmets, not true, the only dif is the cost, a $500 helmet versus a $100 one, I ride, have for years, a KLR 650 dualsport, my road helmet is a simpson@$420 and my Bell moto 6 for off road @ $300. I agree with personal choice, I don't want idiots telling me whats good for me, but I can't think of one single reason I wouldn't wear one. Now the next main question, why would any sane person wear shorts riding a bike. Don't tell me they never crash, there are only 2 types of riders, those that have crashed, and those that will.

How long do you have to wait after getting your regular drivers license? What age do I have to be before I can get my license? I live in New York. One more question. How can I convince my dad to let me drive a motorcycle? Right now I am 14. I have two or more years two convince him. He got rid of his motorcycle because it was dangerous. He hunts. He always says hunting isn't dangerous; it's the hunters that are dangerous. So I thought I may try to use that as part of my argument/debate. I was wondering if there is anything else I could use on my side.

I've changed the plugs, checked the coils, replaced the carbs, checked for adequate fuel flow, checked the float height, and am now out of options. It'll do well over 250 k/ph, and does it easy. It seems to be pissing fuel into one cylinder, though, at idle, as there's a heap of splutter, and labour. The float needles seem to be seating fine, while the carbs are apart ???? , but the bike floods, sometimes, when it's been left sitting, for a while. It's driving me MAD !!!!!! I've even taken it to Kawasaki, and they were a load of DICK"S and said that there was nothing wrong. Am I missing something ? Any assistance, apart from " Just burn it", would be appreciated.

New coil, New ignition sensor, new generator, new ignition switch. Everything is showing hot but no spark from plug. We have even tried hooking a wire to coil and sparking it and the plug shows spark then but not when we kick on it.

I have taken an MSF course too. Have a 600CC bike? Just started driving on freeways. Please share your experience for safe bike riding, how many years you have been driving and what do you think prevented you so far from any accidents. Your experience and guidance will make me more cautious?
