All of the obvious things have been checked. The fuel is in the right position and not on "reserve." The choke is all the way in after warm up, and the tank is full with a mid grade fuel. The bike has less than 200 miles. The bike runs fine until I get it in 5th gear and travel over 55 mph. It then starts "spitting and sputtering" and then dies. It takes 5 - 10 minutes to get it started again. Why is it doing this? I have contacted the dealership where it was purchased and they have not answered back yet. Is there something I am not doing with this new bike that I should be doing?

The scooter runs. Seems to run well until gas is applied. when it is warmed up, it will get enough fuel to run, but if you give too much gas, it wants to die. I let off on the exelerator and it is fine. Is there an adjustable fuel regulator that can be tweaked to let more fuel in? Or any other suggestions that may be helpful. thanks so much!

I have narrowed it down to a Suzuki Katana or Bandit, Kawasaki Ninja or Honda CBR. I definitely am buying it for fun, NOT FOR SPEED so I have decided to go with a 600. I don't know anything about bikes so I wanted to get some feedback on which bike company makes the best and most reliable. Thoughts anyone? I start my cycle safety course on September 1st, help!

I have a 1977 Cafe Racer. I just want to make sure it is called an Ironhead motor for when I register it in bike shows.

I'm looking to buy a gas tank for an 86 rebel 450, anyone know of any sites where I could find one online? I've checked e-bay, they have nothing only 250 tanks. I'd appreciate it if anyone could give me a few links of websites selling tanks (new or second hand).

Are vespa's allowed on the freeway, is there insuracne for them, do you need insurance on them, what age do you need to be to drive a vespa, do you need a driver's license yes/no, do you need a motorcycle license yes/no, do the manual trans on a vespa work the same as a motorclycle yes/no.

PS. it would be in California, and under Californis laws.

I'm not too new to motorcycles, but I'm very new to sportbikes. I've got a '93 GSXR 750. I found myself in a situation going too fast into a corner and just leaned ALOT more (there went my chicken strips) and the bike settled and I got through unscathed and stayed in my lane. What concerns me is getting too low, scraping my foot and pegs (I was LOW, and have a lowered bike),having my foot dragged away, or prying the bike up off it's wheels and making a grease spot on the road. How much can I really lean before that happens? When it does, will it pull my foot off my pegs?

I'm a penguin so I'm not able to drive a motorcycle myself. I'm going to get a chopper with a sidecar and I need someone to drive me around.

I got this 1978 Suzuki dirtbike its a 100cc from one of my dads friends and it ran so well for about two years it would be in the middle of winter and the first kick it would start in the middle of winter and it was cold then during the summer i went riding and i went around the property and i will always remember this but all i did was i went around a corner not a sharp corver just a normal corner all went to accelerate and it just bogged the engine. So then just from that day its been getting worse to the point today when it doesnt even run.weve takin it apart and replaced the crank shaft seals and all the bearings and god all engine gaskets replaced and we put it all back together and it doesnt run wirth beans soo weve also replaced the ignition box and the coil and it still DOESNT run so what we are now thinking it is is the compression weve taken many testes and the compression is around 80-85 which is a little low for a old bike just it still should at least fire.
