I am 6'2", 200 lbs. I am trail and track riding but not racing.

Take into consideration the difference in maintenance required and how easy it is to perform. I don't know much about bikes and will have to learn on my own.

It is the craziest thing. What is wrong with people? I've had people swear, honk, curse just because I can maneuver better than they can. It's not my fault you choose to drive a behemoth and need to take a 2nd mortgage to pay for vehicle fuel. I've even had people try to run me down. I pulled a guy out of his truck and beat the living $hit out of him for that. People forget that we motorcyclists wear body armor, helmets, gloves with imbedded steel studs, and steel toed boots. Some of us carry loaded weapons too. We can phuck you and your car up pretty bad if you think you are tough in your oversized pickup or what have you.

I was riding in Arizona today splitting lanes as usual and riding right up to the front. This is the safest place for a motorcyclist to be because he can't get rear ended, and can accelerate far away from traffic as soon as the light changes to green. A motorcycle cop, no less, rode up to me and gave me a warning for white-lining. He said it was a ticketable offense, and that I could only do this in California. Why is it that CA is the only intelligent state around to allow this? I'm considering moving to CA. How can you pass a bill for your homestate to allow white-lining also known as lane splitting?

Who manufactures the dipstick type oil temperature gauges like those used in Harley oil tanks? I need a custom length and have concluded the stem cannot be shortened. I am interested in speaking with a manufacturer to see if I can get a custom length made.
