I was riding in Arizona today splitting lanes as usual and riding right up to the front. This is the safest place for a motorcyclist to be because he can't get rear ended, and can accelerate far away from traffic as soon as the light changes to green. A motorcycle cop, no less, rode up to me and gave me a warning for white-lining. He said it was a ticketable offense, and that I could only do this in California. Why is it that CA is the only intelligent state around to allow this? I'm considering moving to CA. How can you pass a bill for your homestate to allow white-lining also known as lane splitting?

Pureplprix: Cars cannot switch lanes when they are stopped and side by side each other. Hello?
The safest place for a motorcyclist in heavy traffic is at the front of traffic. It alleviates conjestion as well because motorcycles accelerate 100's of times faster than cars and we clear out of the way immediately. It is also safer for our lungs because we don't have AC. At the front, there are no fumes. Why should we sit behind cage drivers so they can kill us with carbon monoxide and then rear end us while on their cell phones?

Apparently you haven't read my other post on a similar topic. In front, if a rear end collision is imminent, I can move forward or to the side. I can't do that if behind another vehicle. I don't have the cage protection from that that car drivers do. White-lining doesn't make me special, it just gives me an out against bozos like you. I don't know why I'm bothering to explain this to you. You are an obvious moron and won't understand these concepts.
